This is the idea behind Izakaya by Domechan, Piacenza’s first Izakaya. The original, recognizable by its full name and its story. Japanese cooking far from standardized formulas, told through everyday flavors, hot dishes and ingredients chosen with direct knowledge of Japan.

Our ramen are among the most loved dishes in the house. Some guests come back especially for them, recommend them to friends, and some even travel from Milan to sit at our table and rediscover that broth, those aromas and that depth of flavor.
We prepare them with the same philosophy that guides all of Izakaya by Domechan’s cooking: respect for Japanese taste, care in the choice of ingredients and no shortcuts that turn such an iconic dish into something standardized.
